A Late Norris A5 Coffin Shaped Smoother with Stained Beech Infill & Patent Adjustment.
90% of original 2.1/8" Norris Iron Remains (but it does need regrinding). Some rust staining but overall an above average example of this plane.

Postmarked 6.IX.55. "Aeronautical & General Instruments Ltd"also printed on package.
Original parcel probably contained two 2.1/8" Plane Cutters. 1 only remaining. Unused but rust staining on one side.
Condition: G+.

An original Norris 2.1/8" Iron. Stamped "Norris London" one side & "Robt. Sorby Sheffield England" the other. At least 80% of this Cutter remains. Some rust staining but otherwise G+.
